Megan Gerber - Atlanta Area Dog Trainer

Megan Gerber is our most recent addition to the Metro Atlanta area of Georgia including, Atlanta, Decatur, Roswell, Dunwoody, Dekalb County, Fulton County and the surrounding areas. Megan graduated from the Highland Canine Training School last year and so impressed her instructors that she was asked to join the Atlanta training team to help pet owners in the greater Atlanta Area and surrounding regions in dog training. Besides being certified in Dog Obedience and Behavior Modification by Highland Canine, Megan has been surrounded by dogs all of her life. Until she adopted an adult dog, she didn’t realize how difficult some dogs could be to train. She went through several trainers before she found one that could finally help her manage her dog. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for dog training.

Megan offers in home, private lessons and group classes for on and off leash obedience and behavior modification lessons. In addition, Megan also offers in-kennel training in her own home on a limited basis. Megan enjoys working with all breeds and sizes of dogs. Her goal is to create and maintain the best possible relationship between owners and their dog(s). Megan is also a current member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and a certified American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen evaluator.

Ray Figueroa - Metro-Atlanta Dog Trainer

Ray takes a common sense approach to training dogs and their owners to ensure that the training methods and behavior modification programs are easy and simple to follow. His experience with working dogs allows him to readily work with problem pet dogs. Ray is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and is also an American Kennel Club Approved Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. His techniques for training vary as he understands that the needs of each dog and client are different. Ray understands that taking a "cookie cutter approach" to dog training will often fail. Ray is a member of the North American Police Work Dog Association (NAPWDA), National Narcotic Detector Dog Association (NNDDA), the Law Enforcement K9 Training Specialist International, Inc and is a Certifying Official for the American Police Dogs Tactics Association. Ray assists with teaching seminars and conducts police K-9 in service training as well as certificatios. Ray has trained dogs for narcotics detection, explosives detection, scent discrimination trailing, cadaver detection, personal protection and police patrol.

Ray Figueroa is a sworn law enforcement officer with experience as a police canine handler, trainer and instructor. Ray is a graduate of Highland Canine Training, LLC's school for dog trainers and has received his certification in obedience training, behavior modification and as a Police Canine Trainer/Instructor. Ray is also a member of the Association of pet dog trainers.
